When did you get started promoting
your music online? Why did you chose MySpace?
I started myspace back in 2006 on a small scale. I first used
it as a personal site, not as a music site, then as it grew I
changed it over to the music site as it stands today. I chose
myspace because i think there's nothing like it out there at the
moment. The best thing about it is that it's for free. When your
a struggling musician every cent counts and helps, so something
like myspace is a great help in not only costing nothing to run,
but helping bands and artists get their name out there to a wider
audience who may never otherwise have had the chance to hear of
us or see us.
You have been in music competitions
on OurStage.com. Have you had positive results from it?
I've been in quite a few comps
over the years and certainly the last one was OurStage.com The
results from any comp is always a positive one and this comp is
no exception. Win or loose, it's a great experience and they all
have the potential to gather new fans, and to me that's the most
important part of it all (getting out there and been heard by
as many people as posible).
Have you met any fans from your
MySpace at any of your music venues?
Yeh, certainly have. Especially
down here in Melbourne, Australia. That's how I meet a lot of
my new fans, so myspace has definately helped me out in that regards.
