"Officially Plugged In" Interview
Where
do you tend to network most: over the internet or in person?
Robert: The internet has been a great source to reach
people that are hard to contact or I would not otherwise have
contact with. Of course, I'm a Southerner and enjoy working and
"networking" in person… Guess it's a toss up.
LOL
Have you ever gotten people
to help fund a film over the internet?
Robert: Expectations was completely produced via the
internet! None of the actors or production staff had met in person
before filming, with exception to one brilliant actor (Jon Large)
that I already knew, we found Executive Producers, Actors, and
support all while on the internet!
Does having a website for your
film company help people take you more seriously?
Robert: I think most people in the industry would rather
make a judgment about you or your production company from what
they see/watch at film festivals or the theaters. If having a
website helps…great! But we would rather they want to work
with us because we are good at what we do. Of course, our trained
"Attack Bat Pigs" like to have a place to fly around
and nest… so who was I to deprive them of that?
